Deal Life Drawing Group - non-teaching life drawing workshops for artists.

We are a well-established not-for-profit life drawing group in Deal, Kent - open to all professional and amateur artists. All [over 18s] are welcome.
[16-18s may be permitted with signed parental consent.]

No formal membership is required. We have a nucleus of regular members but also operate a drop-in system - so you can attend as little or often as you wish. Just bring your own materials.

There are no membership fees, only attendance fees [cash payable on the day] to cover room hire/model/general running costs.

Sessions are held weekly - breaking only for Christmas and the Summer [school holidays].

We are very fortunate to have an extensive group of fantastic male and female models available to us.

Weekly life drawing on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Our weekday sessions [both two hours long] usually start with shorter poses 2-15 minutes - A short tea break - 25-50 minute pose/s to finish. Each session varies - with consideration to the model’s strengths and comfort - to make it an enjoyable experience for all involved.

Monthly life drawing on Saturdays

We also hold an extended pose session once a month - usually on the 3rd Saturday. It is four hours long divided into 2 poses [with tea breaks]. You can choose to attend for the whole four hours [2 poses] or just for 1 pose.
